I travelled to Southern India with the intention of deepening my knowledge of yoga and its philosophy, spending a month learning from some of the most humble and gracious teachers I have met. I listened and took part in meditations, pranayama (breath work), Ashtanga/Vinyasa, Anatomy and philosophy classes. This is where I received my 200HR Yoga Alliance credited certification to be able to teach and share this life changing practice.
I teach a fun, light hearted, dynamic, vinyasa flow class.
There are no rules in my classes, we focus on moving freely and naturally however feels good to you. Finding variations of poses that compliment your own inner intuition. Incorporating deep, conscious breath to move you through sometimes challenging moments instead of feeling stuck in uncomfortable poses that won't serve you.
We will be flowing along to some fun playlists to help you along the sessions.
When you practice regularly on the mat, the benefits are then visible and taken with you off the mat and become a part of who you are and how you live your life. We are all searching for connection and acceptance and that comes from connecting and accepting yourself and going within on the mat.
